A Chat With Pastor Daniel Winter

On today's 10th episode of One Cross Radio, I am thrilled to share with y'all my interview with Pastor Daniel Winter, who pastors my home church Calvary. Calvary sits in the densely populated Pape area of East York, which borders downtown Toronto, Scarborough, and North York. Pastor Daniel been leading Calvary for a number of years and came to today's episode with a wealth of experience, a great perspective, interesting insights, and a great personality. Personally, there were moments in this episode where the Lord was speaking right to me through him, and I truly hope you'll have those too.

Another Chat With Pastor Tom Lambshead

I am very excited to share this episode, as it features a man who has been a friend, a boss, a teacher, a repeat guest (though first time on the podcast) and is my father in law - Pastor Tom Lambshead. Tom is a man who has a long career in serving the Lord in many ministry roles - he has served as a youth pastor, a lead pastor, as well as a missionary in Pioneers Canada. Currently, Tom is serving as in interim pastor with Grindstone church in Waterdown, as well as Interim Canada East Superintendent with the AGC (Associated Gospel Churches (of Canada)), and leadership development with InCourage. Tom brings a very knowledgeable perspective to the table, and was kind enough to answer some questions about himself, the AGC, and some of his observations.

A Chat With Jenn Arnold about 541 Eatery and Exchange

I'm very excited to share this newest edition of my 'A Chat With' series for a couple reasons. It features the always lovely neighbor of mine Jenn Arnold, who is one of the managers at 541 - and it's about the awesome 541 Eatery and Exchange, a local eatery who do a lot for the community. 541 has been around for a number of years, but I've only just been able to experience for the past several months. A Conversation with Four Friends

Have you ever noticed with friends how you can have the craziest conversations where it will jump from serious topics to the lighter things with no rhyme or reason? That's what this session is. I recently had the chance to see three lifelong friends of mine (pictured from left to right; Mike, Christian, and Tommy) whom I've known since elementary and middle school. When they arrived I asked if they wanted to do a podcast session, they were all on board. But we had no planned topic, no notes, nothing. It was just the four of us sitting and talking with a microphone recording. And it was a BLAST. Just a heads up, the conversation goes all over the place - and we all come from different viewpoints and perspectives. There are some minor spoilers for Thor Ragnarok, and we go into more serious things. While these things are being talked about, there is a sense of humor with it; and none of it is meant to offend anyone. So with that in mind, I hope you are able to sit back and enjoy. What if you could do a remake of a classic or film you love? Who would you involve so the quality would be there?  What would you do?
